The problem
Knowing where a bus, a fleet vehicle or a collection truck actually is, right now, is the whole value of a tracking service. That means continuously ingesting GPS positions, serving them live to subscribers, and staying reliable on real Belizean networks and devices.
What I built
RideYa Tracker is a real-time GPS tracking platform: position ingestion and route management in FastAPI, with a live React map interface and route subscriptions for riders. The branding and configuration are centralised, so the same platform can be deployed under different names for different operators.
The result
RideYa Tracker is live at rideya.bz. The same platform runs Belmopan City Council's CleanCity garbage-route tracker, giving residents live positions of collection trucks on their routes.
