Scholar

The problem

Schools run on paper and spreadsheets: enrolment, classes, grades, attendance, parent communication, pickup authorisation. Small schools cannot afford enterprise systems, and generic tools do not match how a Belizean school actually operates.

What I built

Scholar is a multi-tenant school management system built on Next.js and Drizzle. Each school gets its own tenant with student records, staff and teacher roles, parent logins, per-module toggles set by a platform admin, and in-app help kept in step with every page. An end-to-end test harness exercises admin, teacher and parent roles against a sandboxed tenant before each release.

The result

Scholar is live in production with a Belizean school: real student records and parent logins migrated from the school's spreadsheets, with the school running day-to-day operations on it.
